Going around a cloverleaf

There's only one correct line on a cloverleaf for a bike, and it's to stay on the inside all the way around.

It's not because it's the fast line (it isn't). On a cloverleaf, because it's a constant radius turn, drivers tend to reach higher lateral G than anywhere else. The side effect to this is that oil and other debris on the undercarriage of a car tend to get flung off while going around. When this happens, it goes towards the outside of the road.

Because of this, the center and outside parts of a cloverleaf generally have more oil and other slippery stuff than anywhere you'll ride other than the stopping area at an intersection. On the other hand, the inside 25% tends to be pretty clean.
